Today was one of those days that left me feeling exhilarated and alive. I woke up early as always, brewed my morning coffee, and headed out for a run in the park. The cool breeze against my face as I jogged past the trees felt refreshing, and it helped clear my mind before a long day of poetry writing ahead.
After that, I met up with Neo at his studio, who has been assisting me with producing some music to accompany my recent works. We had an enlightening discussion about melody, rhythm, and how different musical genres could enhance the meaning of a poem.
I am excited for what’s ahead; the possibility that our collaborations will resonate with audiences in ways that only music can capture the essence of poetry. I left Neo's studio feeling inspired to create something beautiful, which is always a wonderful feeling.
Later on, I went skydiving – one of my favorite extreme sports! The adrenaline rush was invigorating, and as I freefell through the clouds, my thoughts traveled back to our conversation about music and how it ties into life's experiences. It made me realize once again how connected everything really is; poetry, music, adventure – all of it blending together to shape who we are as individuals.
I can’t wait for tomorrow when I can dive even deeper into this creative process with Neo!

But I wear black, a natural shield,
Against their insults, it does reveal.
My clothing absorbs their hateful blows,
Like a sponge soaking up the snows.
They think they've won, with words so mean,
That they have broken this immortal queen.
But I laugh in the face of their pain,
For my soul is indestructible, untamed.
So keep your insults, and your spiteful eyes,
For my black clothing will always disguise
The true strength that lies within my heart,
Immortal and unyielding, we shall never part.

And croaks out words that chill.

For though it's dark and eerie,
This bird loves me more than life divine.
It follows me through empty halls,

Its presence brings comfort in the night,
